2 Months Old

Abigail's two month birthday was this past Saturday.  It's hard to believe she is already two months old but at the same time it seems like she's always been part of our family.  We celebrated Saturday by going to eat with Aunt Sis (Chad's sister).  It was nice to get out of the house for a little bit.

Mommy and Abigail ready to head to dinner on her two month birthday.

Abigail loves sitting with Chad.  It's one of her favorite places to fall asleep as seen in the two pictures below.  Chad calls this position "the nook."  When we need Abigail to fall asleep he puts her in the "nook" and it's just a matter of time before she drifts off.

This week Abigail also wore her blue jeans for the first time.  She looked so grown up in her jeans and t-shirt.  They are still a little bit big so we had to pull them up pretty high.

25 cents per kiss seems pretty reasonable to me.  I rack up a pretty steep tab each day with the number of smooches I steal.

Happy Girl

Abigail is beginning to smile a lot more these days.  Her favorite things to smile at are her Daddy, the toys are on her play mat, while laying on her changing table, and at ceiling fans oddly enough.  Here are some of her smiles caught on camera recently.

Here we go!

Welcome to our blog!  I had fully intended on posting our first entry back in November when Abigail was born but here we are, eight weeks later, and I am just getting to it.  I guess it is better late than never.  Chad and I hope this blog will provide a way for our family and friends to keep up with Abigail as she is quickly growing before our eyes.  We are having so much fun watching Abigail learn new things every day and will hopefully document many of her "firsts" here on the blog for you to see as well.  Here are a few pictures to catch you up on the first eight weeks of Abigail's life.  Enjoy!
