Daddy Rocks!!!

Abigail got to hear Unfettered play for the first time this past weekend.  Daddy had a "gig" on Friday and Saturday night, so she and I went for a few minutes on Friday night.  Abigail seemed to really like the loud music and was soothed to sleep by the time they finished playing.

Here is Abigail in her very own Unfettered t-shirt thanks to Uncle Nick

Abigail says, "Rock on Daddy!"

Abigail is the band's newest groupie.

How should I fall asleep this time?

Abigail is sleeping much better these days, which we are all happy about.  We are amazed at how she can fall asleep in some of the weirdest positions.  The pictures below are examples of her most recent positions.

Don't dare swaddle my arms down!

Here she is sitting on Chad's stomach where she has fallen asleep folded like a taco with her face touching her toes.  This actually happens regularly.

Cousins!!!

Abigail and I spent this weekend in Jackson at my parent's house. Cousin Joshua came and brought his parents, Aunt Mil and Uncle Dave, and Aunt B with him. It was so fun to be together! We dressed up Joshua and Abigail for a brief photo shoot. They are already great friends!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Abigail's Many Faces

I love watching the many different, funny faces Abigail can make.  The other day I decided to try and capture several of them.  Abigail was in a particularly good mood at first and I just started snapping picture after picture.  All of the pictures below were probably captured in a span of two minutes.  You can see by the progression that she quickly tired of the photo shoot.  All of the sudden she was crying and pretty quickly fell asleep.  It was crazy!

Wiggle Worm

Abigail wiggles a lot and all of the time.  The other day as she was napping in her swing I was able to catch these pictures.  I heard her crying in her room but she settled down a few minutes later.  I peeked in to check on her and this is what I found.  All of her squirming as she cried led to this position.  I guess she was just tired of the swing's headrest.  She has done this before but this was the first time I caught it on camera.  I apologize for the darkness of these pictures but I couldn't risk the flash waking her up.

Pitiful

Last week Abigail had her two month checkup.  She is doing great and has broken into double digits with her weight.  She weighs 10 pounds and four ounces and measured 22 1/2 inches.  That means she has gained 4 pounds and three inches since birth!  The bad news for Abigail was that she had to get four shots.  The pitiful pictures below show how she felt the rest of the day after her shots.  Poor baby just slept and whined all day.  I didn't mind how cuddly she was all day and took advantage of the opportunity to snuggle with her.
