Happy Halloween!

Abigail's first Halloween has come and gone and I'd say it was a success.  She hit up two Fall Festivals and got tons of compliments as the cutest bunny rabbit in the world.  Friday night we went to Dawson's Fall Festival and got our costume nice and dirty requiring an overnight washing before Saturday.

Daddy and bunny!

Chad took Abigail down the Titanic slide thinking she would really love it.  Her expression didn't change at all and she acted like it was no big deal.  Guess it will take more than a giant slide to phase her.

Saturday Chad let Abigail come to McElwain early before the Fall Festival and experience the Bounce House by herself.  She seemed to really like it and enjoyed watching Mommy and Daddy jump around too (I think we had more fun than she did).

Abigail sported her Bunny costume at McElwain's Fall Festival Saturday night to rave reviews again.  This time Mommy got a picture with the bunny.

She partied hard and was one tired bunny by the time we got home.

11 Months Old!

Guess who is almost 1?   It's me, Abigail!!!!!!!  That's right, I am 11 months old now and counting down the days to my first birthday.  Word on the street at the nursery is that there are some sweets involved with that special day.  Mommy and Daddy have been holding out on me, but I expect to make up for the past year during my birthday celebrations.

I've been busy this month...as usual.  I added another tooth to my mouth, started wearing shoes a good bit (those things are weird by the way), have become more adventurous in my cruising and climbing, learned to stand on my own without holding on, learned to give high fives and started giving out slobbery, open-mouth kisses.

I'm getting excited about my first Halloween this weekend.  Daddy and Mommy are taking me to two Fall Festivals.  They said I have to wear that crazy bunny costume you saw in Mommy's last post.  Ten bucks says they take 1,000 pictures of me in that bunny suit.

Quick shout out to my Me-Mommy.  She recently had surgery and I hope she feels better very soon!  Daddy is coming to see you tomorrow Me-Mommy and I am sending him with a special surprise just for you.

Stay tuned this next week for a recap of my first Halloween and be on the look out for my 12 month post after my birthday celebrations!

Love,
Abigail

Coming Soon!

Coming soon to a fall festival near you... (if you live in Birmingham that is)

Little Bunny Foo Foo!

Birthdays Ending in 0

We traveled to Starkville last weekend to celebrate several birthdays ending in 0.  Amelia and Dave both turned 30 this week, and Aunt Joy celebrated her 50th birthday. Trevor's girlfriend Jessica had her birthday too, although she has a ways to go before her next birthday ending in 0. Our family, the Woods family, Aunt Gay and Grandmother (GG) were able to share a meal together on Saturday in honor of the all of the birthdays and it was so fun!  Chad, Abigail, Aunt B and I went over on Friday to spend the night.  We were able to walk around on Mississippi State's campus for good bit and it was so nice to see it all again.  The campus looks GREAT and has changed so much since I was there (can't believe it's been five years since I finished there).

Abigail quickly felt at home on campus and I'm hoping it is a good sign for the future.  Look how much she loved Bully!

Joshua also loves Bully although he was all business when it came time for his pose with the statue.

Scrub a dub dub, two babies in a tub!  I'm sure these two will laugh at this when they get older.

The cousins enjoyed "playing" together all weekend.  Abigail's idea of "playing" is taking whatever toy Joshua is playing with and then quickly losing interest in it, only to go after the next toy Joshua picks up.  Joshua was such a good sport with his pushy cousin.

We partied hard on Saturday for the birthdays and Abigail was out cold by the time we were at the end of Amelia and Dave's street.
