We apologize for the delay...

... Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

I've been a blog slacker. It's been several weeks since our last blog post and it is time to play catch up.  We've had a busy, but fun, few weeks.  We celebrated Madison's (Abigail's cousin) fourth birthday early this month and had a great time at her Princess and Pirate birthday party.  Unfortunately I did not get a picture of the birthday girl at her party.  She was busy bouncing around and I was busy keeping up with Abigail.

Princess Olivia and Princess Abigail practicing with their crowns the night before the party.

Princess Abigail enjoying watching all of the big kids.

The crown didn't stay on for long, so this was the only picture we have with it.

After the party, Abigail and I headed to Jackson for Labor Day weekend and football season kickoff at Coach and Nana's house.  We made it in time to see most of the Mississippi State game.  Abigail cheered the Bulldogs to victory even though she accidentally left her cow bell in Birmingham.

Bulldog fan from top to bottom!

After a quick wardrobe change, Abigail and Joshua were ready to cheer for the Tide.  Although they didn't make it through the whole game, they had a great time watching the first half.  Before the end of the season, they'll know what an elephant says......"Roll Tide!"

These babies LOVE their Aunt B!
Cute cousins!

Joshua let Abigail have a turn with Aunt Mil.

I think these two have Nana wrapped around their fingers.

Last weekend Chad and I headed to Beaufort, South Carolina leaving Abigail behind for the first time.  She was in good hands with Nana and did great without us.  We definitely missed her but really enjoyed our time away with good friends.  We celebrated the wedding of Chad's good friend Matt and his new wife Erica (Matt is the one on the left in the picture below).  This was the only picture we took the entire weekend, but really says it all.  These guys love getting together and usually end up spending most of their time laughing about stories from college.  Being spread out in four different states means they don't see each other often enough.  Now that they are all married, we'll have to come up with other reasons to get together.  Hope it's soon!
